GISSET has close ties with the Institute of Systems, Information & Nanotechnologies (ISIT) Second Laboratory, which is involved in a variety of research topics designed to support information security for social systems.
GISSET will add a new research topic area related to the safety and security of energy, atomic power and fissile materials. ISIT has cooperative research agreements with: the Indian Statistical Institute, Cryptography Group, Calcutta; the Information System Security Laboratory (ISSL), Tsinghua University, Beijing; the School of Software Dalian University of Technology; Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), Korea and Singapore’s Institute for Infocomm Research (I²R - pronounced as i-squared-r).
