GISSET provides applied consulting and technology development research services related to the safety and security of energy production facilities, infrastructure and communications, and supports the development of new clean energy technologies and resources.
Some of activities are:
- Maintain an established global presence with staff and researchers located in Fukuoka, Dubai and Hong Kong
- Organize regional conferences, workshops and training to support cyber and energy security policy issues and technologies such as:
・Consequence and mitigation management measures
・Petroleum production and transportation terminal security
・Nuclear facility security technologies and training
・Training the “Trainers” for energy infrastructure security - Manage the rotation of researchers and analysts from research centers or energy affiliated entities on a temporary and longer stay basis to the GISSET main office or an affiliate
- Invite foreign researchers/ specialists as short term visiting scientists or consultants to GISSET.
